My Friend, Yolanda Miller, sent me a text about a position at Alliant University that she felt I would be a good fit for. At the time I was not currently looking for a new job but decided to apply for the position anyway. One week later, I was notified that is was being terminated in one month. In the meantime, it was getting closer to my termination period and I continued to act as if nothing of termination had been mentioned. God had my back!
One week before my layoff date, I was contacted by Alliant for an interview for the position. Three days before I got laid off, Fear tried to creep its way in but I just continued to stand on God’s word and my confession, ”I have favor over all the other candidates despite what experience they may have over me!”
When I left the interview, I thanked God in advance for what He had already done. Within that hour after the interview, Yolanda sent me the text I had been expecting to see letting me know I got the job!!
This job is everything I believed God for and then some!! Double pay, my own office and it’s closer to home!!
Yolanda…THANK YOU for playing a vital role in getting me in the door!! Much love to you. Pastor, thank you for teaching me how to walk by faith and not by sight!! The Word works when you work it!!

ReplyDeleteHi pastor. This testimony is a perfect testimony of how the Kingdom of God works. Pastor teaches the Word of God. Some receive it, some don't. Don't be concerned about who is doing what. Let your life be a testimony of Gods grace and mercy in the earth realm.
