Embassy Church Family,
What a joy to celebrate another year with the blessing of God on your life. As you spend time with family and friends this holiday, remember that we have so much to be thankful for, that one day of the year is really inadequate to do it justice.
Thanksgiving is the result of a grateful heart, not a turkey and dressing with all the trimmings. Enjoy all of the delicious food, family and fellowship. Above all, make sure to take time and give thanks to the Lord because He is Good!
We are about to begin the last month of 2017. New Years will be upon us before we can blink. As we prepare to start our year, let’s take into account that we each have a part to play in fulfilling the vision of our church.
Make church a priority again if you have allowed it to slip and keep pushing forward at a faster pace, if you are on track functioning in your God-given assignment. There is much to do and we are the ones that carry the water for Embassy Church, so let’s get it done.
Serving, Supporting and Sharing
- Serving is what we do for others, in the context of our individual and corporate assignment. Each of us has been graced with gifts, talents and abilities to function in line with that assignment. Christian serve in the local church and beyond as a lifestyle, not a task and a burden.
- Supporting is what we do with the resources God has entrusted to our stewardship. Every member can’t support at the same level or degree, but we each must support with the same commitment. Being a part of the Body of Christ is a privilege we enjoy and in appreciation to God, we support His work in the earth.
- Sharing is the responsibility of each member of the local church body to get the Word out. We share the love of God with those in our world and allow them to experience Him through our lives.
When they see that He is real to us, people will follow Him in the same way. Sharing your faith in God should be a natural occurrence in your daily life. Someone needs what you have to offer and you need to give it to them. That’s the reason God blessed you in the the first place.
Always be open and available to God because His eyes are running throughout the earth looking for someone like you and me, to show His power through.
Strongly consider your commitment and contribution to Embassy Church and connect with an area of ministry that suits you. From administrative skills to advertising and everything in between, much is given to us and much is required from us.
Use your expertise to contribute to the success of your church and your church will be successful. It’s up to each of us!
