THE LORD'S DOING

Psalm 118:23 "This is the Lord's doing and it is marvelous in our eyes..."

There are sometimes, things in the believer's life that are so amazing and spectacular that people will sometimes question their authenticity.

These are things that the natural mind can't comprehend and fights off the idea, due to a lack of understanding.

They will question if it's the will of God for you to have received your blessing.  They aren't really interested to know if you qualify as much as they are bothered by the thought that they don't. Persecution and affliction will come at you when the Lord has moved favorably in your life.

"Your blessings will bring out the envy and jealousy in others."

No matter if they are your family members, friends, enemies, coworkers, church members, acquaintances or the people who just heard about what the Lord has done in your life, they all have the potential of becoming competitive and jealous and the relationship is in jeopardy. The reason for the problem is that fact that the Lord has blessed you in some way.

Don't worry, it will happen!

You will find that many who you thought were on your side and in your corner, will turn on you when God shows up in your life.  They begin to compare what He did for you with their apparent lack and insufficiency. It won't be long before their attitude and actions begin to show what is going on inside them.

Everyone isn't happy when you receive the manifested blessings of God in your life and family.  You are supposed to be blessed so stop apologizing for it.  That is not Godly thinking.

"Some people wish you well until you start doing well."

You need a revelation that what is happening in your life is due to God fulfilling His promise to you based on your obedience to His Word.  You are blessed because you met the requirement and fulfilled your side of the deal.

Job 36:11 says "if you serve and obey Him, you will spend your days in prosperity and your years in pleasure."  That promise is for every believer but not every believer takes advantage of it.

We understand that we are to serve and obey Him. That is not the issue. We have a problem with the part about spending our life in prosperity and pleasure.

You need a clear understanding that you are where you are because you are supposed to be there due to your positioning in Christ.

You are an heir of God and a Co-Equal heir with Jesus Christ. You have served and obeyed the Word and the results are Marvelous in our eyes.
