Proverbs 21:1 "The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord as the rivers of water and He turns it however He wills."
We serve the King of Kings. He is the King of all Kings and those who are in authority. When someone is making a decision on your behalf and you need them to decide in your favor, there is a promise from God that He will turn their heart in your direction.
People in authority don't have the final word in your life. God is the King of your life and He always gets the last word. When faced with situations where someone has authority over you, trust God to turn their heart in your favor and believe for the outcome you desire.
He will move on them for you and even they can't explain why they made the decision they did. God is bigger than anything you face and He always gets the last word in the life of the believer.
