A NEW THING IN 2017

God wants to do a NEW THING in your life in 2017. In this new year, you must be filled with great expectation that God is up to something BIG in your life.  

To participate with God in doing a new thing, you must think a new way.  Barriers and boundaries to your thinking that existed before 2017 must be removed in order to get to this new place in your life.  
To transition successfully into a new thing, you must speak a new language to some degree.  You will never rise above your ability to communicate in the place you are going.  

When I was a young sailor in the U.S. Navy living in the Japan, we lived in a Japanese house in the city of Yokosuka.  Living in a new culture required that we learn the language to some extent in order to be good neighbors to our Japanese friends and exist in a world that we never knew previous to living there.  Being willing to learn the language and culture was critical to our success there.

We need to speak the language of the Kingdom of God in order to maximize our potential and be all that we are called to be as Christians.  

2 Corinthians 5:17 tells us that as new creations, old things have passed away and we enter a new life in Jesus Christ.  Expect something BIG and you will see it come to pass.
