PRAYING FOR THE SALVATION
OF YOUR LOVED ONES
As Believer's, we have the right to place our
loved ones on the altar of God and pray for their salvation. Many of us
have attempted to minister to close friends and family to no avail, but when we
trust God to do what we can't do, we will see better results.
These are scriptural keys to pray for their
salvation and deliverance.
I. Pray for God to send laborers to
minister to them. They won't listen to you!
Matthew 9:38
38 Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send
out laborers into His harvest.
II. Ask God to soften their heart to
hearing and receiving the Gospel.
Ezekiel 11:19
19 Then I will give them one heart, and I will put
a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give
them a heart of flesh,
III. Ask God to bring to their remembrance any of the Word of God
that they were taught from their childhood to the present.
John 14:26
26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father
will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your
remembrance all things that I said to you.
Isaiah 55:11
11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My
mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
IV. Ask Holy Spirit to convict them
of their sin.
John 16:8
8 And when He has come, He will convict the
world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
V. Ask for the spirit of revelation
to be released in them (dreams, visions, angelic visitations or any other
method He can use to reach them).
Ephesians 1:17-19
17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the
Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the
knowledge of Him,
18 the eyes of your understanding being
enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the
riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,
19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power
toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power
VI. Ask God to overwhelm them with
His Presence and His Love!
Romans 2:4
4 Or do you despise the riches of His goodness,
forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads
you to repentance?
