ARE YOU READY, IT'S HARVEST TIME?

READING ASSIGNMENT:  THIS MONTH WE WILL READ THE BOOK OF ACTS...

ACTS CHAPTERS 1  &  2     (Finish Strong)

“Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest” (John 4:35).

First in this passage of scriptures, we see that Jesus’ delight was to do the Father’s will. His purpose was to finish the work given him by the Father!  We should follow his example, living as servants, finding pleasure in doing His will.

Next we see the work of the disciples. The fields are white unto harvest which was evidence that the Lord of the Harvest was Faithful to give a return on the seed.  Jesus was the Father's seed, sown to reap a harvest of children, just like the seed that He sowed.  


TRANSLATION:  GOD SOWED A SEED (JESUS) EXPECTING TO REAP A HARVEST JUST LIKE THE SEED HE PLANTED (CHILDREN)  JOHN 1:12

Let us labor, faithfully sowing the seed and praying that the Lord of the harvest will send in more laborers.  The challenge in this is not the Harvest, but Laborers who will be ready and willing to Pick the Harvest...

1.  Have you accepted the Father's free gift of Salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ?

2.  If you have not acknowledged him as Lord and Savior, you may do so today!

Pray with me...Father in Heaven, I repent of my Life as a Sinner and I Believe that Jesus Died for those Sins and was Raised from the Dead for me to be Saved.  I accept Jesus and I make You Lord of My Life right now, In Jesus' Name, Amen!
