Is He Really Able?

Reading Assignment:  Matthew 9, 10

Are you dealing with what seems to be an impossible situation?  Confused about who determines the outcome of your situation?  I have some very good news for you!   Jesus asked some blind men the most profound yet simple question, "Believe you that I am able to do this? (Matthew 9:28)

This Question is the Answer to all your problems!  Do you believe that He is Able?
All over the Christian landscape you can hear it said, "God is Able", but most people never get the answer to the question.  Is He really able?  Able to do what?

The responsibility is placed on Your Ability to Believe in His Ability!  I will say that again, "The responsibility is placed on Your Ability to Believe in His Ability!

You are required to believe that He is able to "Do" and upon determining what He is able to Do, "according to Your Faith be it unto you" Matthew 9:29.  Do you see how this works...

You are required to Believe that God is Able and upon determining what He is Able to Do, your responsibility is to Believe and Act on what you Believe He is Able to Do!  How do you determine what He is Able to Do?

That's where the Word of God comes in.  The Bible contains a History of what God has already done.  If you can Believe what He has already done, it's not hard to believe what He will do in your situation.  For instance, if sickness has attacked your body, can you believe that He can do for you what He did for the blind men?

Hebrews 13:8 tells us that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever.  Malachi 3:6 says that the Lord never changes.  If He is the same as He was in the day of these blind men, then Faith says, He will do it for me too.  Period!

Faith Confession:  Father I thank you for the Word that produces faith in my life.  I will put myself in a position to always hear the unadulterated Word so that I always possess unshakeable faith.   I declare Victory in my life according to my faith in Your Word!

  1. Hi Pastor. The question for everybody is who else is able to do what you need done in your life. We can't even do it, so, how can we believe that any carnal man has the ability to do anything to change our situations or circumstances. This is not an excuse not to listen to your pastor or not to come to church. You better know this if you know anything!
