Unselfish and Self-less are two terms that are traditionally related to the Character of Christians but even more, the define the true essence of Leadership.
To see a Selfish Christian is a sad sight, but to see a Selfish Leader is an oxymoron. The root word is SELF and it has no place in the life of the Leader. Jesus said, "the shepherd gives his life for the sheep" John 10. This is a basic understanding of begin a Leader, you give up your agenda for Everyone Else!
Many take on a leadership role without understanding that a Leader has to be the most Self-less person on the team. If Leadership is your goal in life, you must decide from the get-go that it aint about You!
