Getting Over!

Reading Assignment:  Matthew 13, 14   Mark 5


The trials of life can seem so hard that you can't see yourself making it to the other side of the trouble you face.  We have a perfect example of how God thinks about our being bound and His desire for us to make it to the other side of our circumstances.


Getting to the other side of our challenges can seem impossible, until we gain the knowledge of the Word on the subject.  Matthew 14:22-31 is the story of Jesus defying the laws of gravity and walking on water to meet His disciples.  When He reached them, the ship was in the middle of the sea and  Peter decided to follow His example and walk on the water also.  


Peter was successful until he took his eyes off Jesus and focused on the adverse circumstances.  In life we win as long as we fix our attention on the Word and not Worry about the challenges in front of us.  (Isaiah 26:3)


While we look not at the things which are seen but at the things which are not seen...2 Corinthians 4:17,18.  The things that we can perceive with our five senses are only temporary, they can be changed!  


No matter how intense the challenge, standing on the Word will bring you safely and successfully, to the other side!


Faith Confession:  Father I am determined to walk by faith and not by the circumstances that contradict what your Word says.  I stand against every obstacle that comes to discourage me and I choose the way of Faith, in Jesus' name, Amen!
